About Emma
Hello, I’m Emmie and I am currently studying to become a teacher of English, Spanish, and Linguistics! My passion for Spanish has been there since I can remember, and my absolute dream is to pass this love for the language on to others! I currently tutor A-Level students and have tutored GCSE students in the past; I have sat the Oxford MLAT (Modern Languages Aptitude Test), the grade for which is pending, and I am currently studying to take the Cambridge C2 Proficiency exam! I also have a certificate from the CIOL (Chartered Institute of Linguists) for my exam sat in July 2019, in which I earned the grade of merit.

In my lessons, I will devote my full attention to you and your progress in Spanish - helping you read, write, listen, and speak more confidently! I will be encouraging and supportive (as I know how hard it can be to learn a language!), and I will give you my very best! Typically, lessons will last for 30 mins, but I can offer anything up to two hours! I aim to help A-Level and GCSE students, but I would happily tutor anyone of any age that I could help!

I'm 17 and I found Emma through college. She has really helped me with my pronunciation and is quite a well-rounded teacher. She is also super genuine and never made me feel rushed or uncomfortable when I made mistakes. 10/10 as a tutor. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to become fluent in Spanish.
