About Indigo
I used to hate school - I was very disorganised, struggled to achieve high grades and found it hard to engage in lessons. However, I managed to overcome this and went on to be one of the highest achieving students in my year. I grew to love certain subjects, enjoyed learning and received offers from some of the best Universities in the country before going on to study at Oxford University.
As a tutor, I am very inspired to help others in a similar way. I believe every student deserves a chance to succeed and I always try my best to introduce strategies and ways of teaching that are adapted to the student's needs and style of learning. I try and ensure my lessons are engaging, effective and structured to make the best use of time and hopefully inspire confidence and self-belief in even the most reluctant student.

Hello, I have seven years of private tutoring experience and am passionate about helping others achieve their potential. I achieved 7A*'s, 3A's and 1B at GCSE, and 3A*'s and an A at A-Level. I received offers to study at several top institutions including Imperial College London, University College London, and the Universities of Bristol, Manchester, Sussex and East Anglia. I went on to read Biology at Oxford University and am now starting a 4-year PhD at the Radcliffe Department of Medicine at Oxford University.
My speciality as a tutor is making my lessons fun, effective, and easy to understand. I find innovative ways of teaching even the most challenging concepts to ensure my students both comprehend and enjoy the learning, and the student's welfare is my top priority.
I adapt the structure of each lesson to meet the student's needs, working together with the student to keep us both accountable and effective. I have experience teaching children with SPLD such as dyslexia and ADHD, chronic illness, or other difficulties and specific needs so am open to students of all abilities, genders and ages up to 18. Lessons can range from 0.5-2 hours depending on preference - I am flexible and would encourage breaks for longer sessions too.
I can teach all core subjects, and Spanish up to GCSE Level, and Biology, Chemistry and English up to A-Level standard. I am also happy to help with general organisation, motivation, entrance exam or university application preparation. Feel free to get in touch :)
