About Saksham
I’m an Economics graduate currently studying MSc in Actuarial Management at Bayes Business School. I have passed 5 actuarial examinations and have completed FRM Part I with Q1 result across all 4 books, giving me a strong background in Maths, Economics and Finance.
I’ve always enjoyed understanding difficult concepts and finding simple ways to explain them to others. That’s one of the main reasons I enjoy tutoring — helping someone go from being confused about a topic to feeling confident with it.
My teaching style is friendly, patient and practical. I encourage students to ask questions, work through problems together and understand the reasoning behind each answer rather than simply memorising methods.

My aim is to make Maths and Economics simple, clear and enjoyable to learn. I focus on understanding concepts rather than just memorising formulae, and I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, goals and areas they find difficult.
I’m an Economics graduate and an aspiring Actuary and FRM part 1 holder, with a strong background in Maths, Economics and Finance. I can help with school, GCSE, A-Level and undergraduate-level topics, including exam preparation and problem-solving.
Lessons are usually 60 minutes, with plenty of time for questions, worked examples and practice. Whether you’re struggling with a topic or aiming for a higher grade, we’ll work through it step by step at your pace.

When I think about saksham, i think very practical and explanatory guy. I keep remembering this instance where he explained a deeply technical topic like PCA (principal component analysis) so profoundly and yet so simply that it changed my view about it forever. I knew it earlier but i really understood it, the day saksham talked to me about it. He has been my recurring tutor for anything statistical or economical then on.
