About Telema

As an undergraduate who has completed Organic Chemistry and preceptored for the course, I know firsthand how challenging it can feel at first, but also what it takes to master it. I focus on simplifying tough concepts, sharing study strategies that actually work, and helping students build confidence one step at a time.

About the lesson

My lessons focus on turning complex reactions into clear, logical stories. I begin by identifying what topics feel most confusing, then break them down visually with mechanisms, examples, and pattern-based reasoning that makes OChem easier to connect and remember. Each session mixes concept review, practice problems, and strategy tips drawn from how I personally succeeded in the course. I aim to make students confident in both understanding and applying concepts, not just memorizing them.

Telema is an amazing tutor, ive known her for a couple of years and in that time she’s shown how reliable, patient, and dedicated she is. She takes the time to explain things clearly and makes sure you actually understand the material instead of just memorizing it. One thing I really appreciate about her teaching style is how supportive and encouraging she is
