About Aalia
Other than a passion for languages and wanting to share this, the desire to make learning actually enjoyable and not a dreaded monotonous task inspired me to become a teacher. I was a student not long ago, and I was lucky enough to have a couple inspiring teachers who completely changed my view on certain subjects because of the way they would teach, and I wanted the opportunity to do this for other students as well.

Lessons would be tailored to each student and their individual needs and goals. By the end of each lesson, my goal is to have my students come away feeling much more confident and engaged with at least one key language skill required for their exams, whether that be writing, reading, listening or speaking.
There is no one way to learn or teach a language. If the student cannot understand something I will always do my best to find another way to explain, instead of forcing them to learn in one particular way. Each lesson would be goal-oriented so by the end the student can come away having learnt something new or at least with much more confidence, making a steady progress towards achieving their GCSE goals.
I teach AQA, working with students aged 14-16 preparing for their GCSE’s.
