I am passionate about science and teach with enthusiasm. - Physics tutor with Ian

I have worked with Ian for three years at Newlands Girls' School in Maidenhead. During this time I
saw him develop from a student teacher into an outstanding professional.

At Newlands Ian taught Science to mixed ability classes from Year 7 to 11. He also taught AS and A level Chemistry. As part of the Science department Ian was involved in running and moderating
ISA exams for Year 10, 11 and 12. Throughout this time he was the most organised and reliable member of the department.

Ian's main strength is the ability to share his passion for Science with students of all ages and abilities. He was able to use a variety of resources, often made by himself and always tailored to suit the needs of each student. All of Ian's lessons were planned in great detail and he clearly linked each objective to exam requirements. As a result all of Ian's students stayed motivated throughout the year and achieved their target grades.

In summary Ian is a passionate and successful teacher and I would wholeheartedly recommend him as a tutor to anyone needing support with science.

Ian is an outstanding Science teacher. His passion for Science and his subject knowledge is exceptional. Ian has the ability to motivate and enthuse the students in his classes.
