Afrikaans lessons will be unique to students because they will be tailored to their individual:
1. Learning styles: Visual, auditory, kinesthetic learners can be accommodated with different teaching methods and resources.
2. Pace of learning: Some students learn faster than others and need more challenging material, while others need more time and practice.
3. Interests and goals: A student interested in travel might focus on practical conversational Afrikaans, while a student interested in history might delve into the cultural context of the language.
4. Prior knowledge and experience: Students with experience in related languages like Dutch or German will have a different starting point than those with no prior language learning.
5. Cultural background: Understanding the student's own culture helps relate to and contextualize the culture associated with Afrikaans.
6. Specific needs and challenges: Some students may have learning disabilities or other challenges that require special accommodations.
