About Akbarjon
Hi! I'm Akbar, a passionate and dedicated tutor specialising in A-Level Maths, Further Maths, Computer Science, and Physics. I recently completed my A-Levels with an A* in Maths and an A in Computer Science, and I've secured a place at Southampton University to study Mathematical Sciences. I’m excited to share the strategies and knowledge that helped me achieve these results. In addition to A-Levels, I can also assist with the STAT exam, a crucial part of the application process for computer science courses at UCL. I scored an impressive 1520 on the SAT US, with a 790 in Maths and 720 in English, so I’m also well-equipped to help with SAT prep, particularly the Maths section.

As a president of my sixth form college, I had extensive experience teaching and mentoring students. I offer tutoring for both GCSE and A-level maths. I prefer to find an individual approach for every student, creating a positive and engaging environment so students can enjoy and thrive in their studies. The first half an hour of tutoring is free. This time gives us the opportunity to connect, discuss your goals, and create a plan that best suits your needs. I offer both in-person and online tutoring.

Perfect! I've booked a lesson with Akbarjon to help Cameron prepare for his SAT exams in Math and English, with a view to applying to university in America. Akbarjon was very positive and took the time to discuss his plan and scope of study with us. He sent Cameron resources to practice before the lesson, and then work through questions with him during the session. He seems to have a great depth of knowledge and I'm confident he'll be able to support Cameron in strengthening his understanding and achieving his target."

In my experience with akbarjon, he has always taught me what was on syllabus and found a way for me to understand sections I have struggled with. Whenever I needed help he would give me examples and helped me through them without giving away the answers, insuring I find the answer for myself.
