About Angus
Hi! I'm Angus - a 24 year old Australian bloke who loves it over here in Canada. I graduated from the Australian National University last year with a Bachelors of Science with a major in Chemistry and minor in Biology.
I love working with and meeting new people. Working in education is a real passion for me, and I've done a cumulative 4 or so years working in schools, tutoring programs, teaching university lab classes and working in children's summer camps.
I consider myself a friendly and approachable individual who brings a lot of enthusiasm to the table. For me, teaching is as much about delivering the content as it is fostering a passion for the subject in the student. I'd love to come away from a session with the hope that my student actively enjoys our time together and is getting excited about learning more about STEM!

My lessons will be targeted and structured specifically to suit the age and desires of the student. The topic of each session will be well researched by myself such that I can provide the best and most useful experience I can. Typically I'd like my lesson structure to consist of:
1. A quick revision of the last session
2. Bridging toward the current lesson focus
3. Assigning homework and any closing preparation for next session.
I approach all my work in education with a friendly and enthusiastic energy. I'm a very approachable person and I'll do my best to ensure that my student is comfortable and enjoying the session. Learning this sciencey stuff can be really fun! I'd love to help nurture a passion for the content in my students as well as teach them some useful things.
