About Jade
Hello! I am an ambitious, creative student that balances a top academic record with my roster of tutored students in the Sciences, Maths and English. I begin my undergraduate degree in Computer Science at the University of St Andrews in September and have a great passion for programming and software development. As a tutor I strive to create a positive learning environment where questions are encouraged and mistakes are viewed as opportunities for growth, and pride myself on my ability to connect with all of my students.

Over the years, I've tutored over 50 students of all ages (from primary school to AS level) for Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, English, Computer Science and 11+ exams. I have perfected my ability to break down even the most complicated concepts into easy-to-understand pieces, and I strive to effectively adjust my tutoring approach to the needs of each individual student. My tutoring strategy ensures that my students always develop a detailed and confident knowledge of their course content, and end up fully ready for any upcoming exams. I accredit the fact that so many of my students improve by entire letter grades during our time together to my adaptative approach, creative use of resources and the positive learning environment that I create.
