About Linda
Hi! I am Linda from Shanghai :) I lived in Singapore for 8 years and is currently doing my Undergraduate degree in Psychology and Education at UCL. I am fluent in both Chinese and English and recently graduated in IB with a 7 in First Langauge Chinese Langauge and Literature.
I have always had a passion for teaching and especially to be able to share my culture and language with others. I love to incorporate fun activities and elaborations in my teaching to make learning not only effective but also enjoyable. Rather than hours of memorisation, I love to elaborate different words into stories or attatch meanings to the "look" of the characters to ensure a better understanding.
I have previously had experiences teaching children English and Chinese in local schools and communities. During these experiences I would often plan lessons ahead of time and engage in a classroom with around 20 students.
