About Nazreen
My future students are children and young learners who need extra support and encouragement to build confidence in literacy, numeracy, and overall school readiness. They may be just beginning their learning journey, preparing for a smooth transition into primary school, or strengthening key skills to reach their full potential. I want to teach them because I believe every child is capable of success when given the right guidance, patience, and inspiration. Teaching is not only about academic progress, but also about nurturing curiosity, resilience, and a love for learning. I am passionate about making a difference in children’s lives by providing personalized, inclusive, and culturally responsive learning experiences that help them shine both inside and outside the classroom.

I believe every learner is unique, so I tailor my teaching to match each student’s strengths, interests, and learning style. My approach is warm, supportive, and encouraging, ensuring students feel confident to take risks and ask questions. I use practical strategies from my experience in literacy, numeracy, school readiness, and inquiry learning to build strong foundations.
I integrate play-based and real-life examples so learning feels engaging and relevant, not just academic. I also believe in open communication with families, keeping them involved in their child’s progress. With my background in ECE and primary teaching in New Zealand and Fiji, I create lessons that are inclusive, culturally responsive, and focused on building independent, motivated learners.
The outcome is not just better grades, but a love for learning, resilience, and readiness for the next stage of education.
