My name is Alvaro, I am from a small town near Seville, in the south of Spain, and I am passionate about teaching and sharing my culture. I hold a double degree in Geography and History as well as a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education (Spanish and Humanities). Currently, I am living in Ireland working as an au pair, which has allowed me to improve my English skills, understand the Irish culture from the inside, and gain valuable experience working with children and teenagers. I would love the opportunity to work as a Spanish teacher in Ireland. I can offer not only strong academic training but also a natural ability to connect with students and make language learning engaging through cultural references, history, and interactive activities. Coming from Andalusia, I bring with me the richness of Spanish traditions, accent, and identity, which I consider a strong asset when teaching my native language. I am highly motivated, adaptable, and eager to contribute to your school’s language department. I believe that teaching Spanish is not only about grammar or vocabulary but also about opening a door to new perspectives, ways of thinking, and cultures.
