About Keelin
I am a storyboard revisionist with 4 years of animation studio experience with 5 years of teaching experience on top of that! I have worked on a number of shows for a variety of streamers and broadcasters including PBS Kids, HBO, and Apple TV. I am a fun-loving individual who loves to push the imagination and allow students to tell stories through their art. I strongly believe in the power of art and how it pushes culture forward and can create a better and kinder world. I have an Advanced Diploma in Animation, my High Five Healthy Principles of Childhood Development certification, and Emergency First Aid training.

I believe learning should be fun and that art is a form of play. Like any games, however, it is also important to learn the rules in order to break them to see the best results in your work and growth. I will have a lesson plan ready but I tend to adjust some things to match the interests of the individual. I have previous experience teaching: -parent & tot art classes for 2-4 (exploring shapes, colors, and textures to help develop fine motor skills) -art fundamentals for ages 10+ (the principles of art and design along with perspective drawing and some basic anatomy lessons on proportions) -storyboarding/cartooning/comics making for (sequential storytelling and zine making) I am also willing to perform portfolio reviews for anyone looking to apply to animation college programs. I will use digital drawing software to conduct online drawing classes so that students can see my process easier. In person will be in traditional mediums.
