About Dixita
I am a Bioengineering Ph.D scholar having experience in teaching since 2012. I have earned science Masters degree specialized in bioinformatics. The purpose of teaching should be to make students aware of why the subject is essential and why we are doing this. My teaching interest can be broadly categorized in biology, mathematics and computer science. My audience were undergraduate and Master students. I prefer teaching by learning model.
I tutor for KS2, KS3 and GSCE level students for biological sciences. I teach maths, science in KS2 and KS3 level (age 11-16). My most preferred subject is biology at GCSE, undergraduate year 1-2 levels. I have experience of over 5 years teaching higher secondary and undergraduate students. Prior to this, I have been assigned the role of teaching assistant and tutor for some courses for during my doctoral studies. My teaching interest can be broadly categorized in biology, mathematics and computer science. I am looking for teaching jobs in London.

My idea about education is to extend my help students beyond classrooms by answering their curiosity and keep them encouraging to find the right interest for them. I support two-way communication rather than one-way communication from the teacher. I want to develop analytical skills useful in the subject, including the ability to think out of the box and express one’s self logically and the capability to learn outside the traditional classroom setting. Cultivating innovative ideas and enthusiasm for science is an essential element of establishing scientifically literate students with a lifelong interest in science. I have my basic understanding of biology better, but I prefer to teach interdisciplinary subjects that cross-link problems and solutions in respective areas.
