About Ashhal
I’m Ashhal, a Bioinformatics student at COMSATS University Islamabad, and I have a strong passion for Biology and science. I’ve always tried to make studying something to enjoy rather than something to dread completely, and I enjoy explaining concepts to others in a way that is easy to understand. I have achieved strong academic results throughout my studies, including a 3.95 GPA, and I have experience tutoring students from Grades 2–4 as well as O-Level students.
When I was a young student, I also struggled to understand certain concepts, and I remember how frustrating it was when a teacher simply told me to memorize them. This is something I never want to pass on to my students. I focus on helping students understand the “why” behind what they are learning rather than simply memorizing information.
As a tutor, I know that making mistakes is part of the learning process and that every student has their own way of learning. Hence, I try to make my lessons personal, interactive, and suited to each student’s individual needs. I’m patient and friendly while making sure that every student gets the results they are capable of achieving.

I believe tutoring should feel comfortable, encouraging, and personal, not like any another classroom where a student is afraid of making mistakes. My approach is to first understand how each student learns and then explain concepts in a simple, step-by-step way with examples, practice questions/ past papers, and everyday situations. I encourage students to ask questions freely and make sure they actually understand a topic before moving on. My lessons are usually around 1 hour with flexibility depending on the student’s age, level, and needs.
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Bioinformatics because of my strong passion for Biology. I have achieved top grades throughout my studies, including a 3.95 GPA, and I have experience tutoring younger students from Grades 2–4 as well as O-Level students. I can teach students from primary level up to O-Level, particularly in Biology and other science related subjects. My goal is not just to help students get better marks, but to help them become more confident, curious, and comfortable with what they are learning.
