About Francisca
Hello! I’m Francisca, a dentistry student at NUS. I have a strong foundation in science and math, and my teaching style aims to simplify things to make it as easy as possible for you to digest. I began tutoring because I used to help my friends in school, and they used to say I was better than the teacher at finding ways to make the material more comprehensive. I am also good at adapting to make sure that my teaching style is specifically catered to you, so that I can help you do your best!

My tutoring approach is student-centered and tailored to each individual’s learning style and needs. I focus on building a strong conceptual understanding through clear explanations, practical examples, and interactive problem-solving. I encourage questions and active participation to ensure students grasp the material deeply rather than just memorizing facts.
Typically, lessons last 1 to 1.5 hours, allowing enough time to cover topics thoroughly while keeping sessions engaging and focused. I use a mix of teaching techniques including visual aids, real-life applications, and step-by-step walkthroughs to make complex concepts more accessible.
As a dentistry student at the National University of Singapore (NUS), I have a strong foundation in science and math, and experience balancing rigorous academic demands. I have helped peers improve their understanding and confidence in these subjects.
My lessons are designed for secondary school and pre-university students (O-Level, A-Level, IB) who want to strengthen their knowledge, prepare for exams, or improve their grades in science and math.
