About Shilamie
I graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in English, minor in Mathematics, Cum Laude, at the Philippine Normal University last March 2000. I also earned my Master of Education in Language Teaching at the University of Southeastern Philippines last April 2015.
I have a strong passion for education, and I love helping students reach their full potential. Education is crucial to the success of any student, and my life-long goal is to help students learn and create the best possible learning environment.
Having worked in the different education sectors for 18 years, I have dealt with students of all ages and from diverse backgrounds both online and offline. I had been a full-time online ESL teacher for three (3) years teaching English to Korean students. Moreover, I am skilled in using technology to create an engaging and effective learning environment for my students. I am also proficient in a variety of teaching methods, which I adapt to the needs of each student.
