About Fatima
I'm a science teacher with 19 experience of teaching in many boroughs of London city and an examiner for GCSE physics and A Level biology from last more than 10 years. I have taught in state maintained schools, academies and independent school. I teach across KS3- KS5 including BTEC Applied Science. I am a Lead Internal Verifier for BTEC L3 courses. I've been tutoring KS3, KS4 (all sciences) and KS5 students for Biology and Chemistry from more than 8 years. I helped many students achieve at least 2 grades higher than their current grade.

I integrate exam questions and exam skill techniques in addition to teaching the content which is pitched at the student's ability. Every session begins with reviewing previous knowledge and reinforcing key concepts and use of key vocabulary in the right context. I allow time for student's independent thinking and encourage them to share ideas no matter if they are unsure or hesitate to participate. This builds confidence in student's own learning. Some of my GCSE student's start with combined science but in a few months time, they are promoted to triple science based on their performance at school. Most student's pass out with a 1-2 Level's higher than their predicted grade.
This is my ultimate reward for my passion and devotion in my vocation.
