About Innocentia
I began my journey to home-based education in January 2024 and I knew that I was making an excellent choice for my children. I understood the level of commitment that the role of an educational facilitator would require. As a result, I committed every day and even weekends, to ensure that my children received the best of two worlds: a nurturing mother who would instill confidence in them and a firm facilitator who believed in them and challenged them beyond their limits.
MY PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

The foundation phase is a critical period in which children enter formal schooling and are required to practice and master critical literacy, mathematics and life skills, ensuring they adjust to the growing demands of higher phases, and excel holistically throughout their schooling career.
I offer the following services to learners ranging from grade R to grade 3:
• Fun, targetted multimodal CAPS-aligned educational content for English home language, Mathematics, Afrikaans second language and Life Skills
•Curriculum implementation/teaching of learning areas in core foundation phase subjects
•General homework assistance
• Formative assessment preparation
•Coach reading in English and Afrikaans
• Tutoring in Mathematics (CAPS)
• Emergent writing coaching for struggling writers
