Hello there! My name is Jessica and I am working towards getting into teachers college. I have always had a passion for working with kids and educating. I believe it is highly important to know and understand the ways in which a student learns best for success. Taking some time and asking questions to determine this would be a part of each and every lesson.
A typical lesson plan would goes as follows.
Going over current course work and evaluating areas in need of improvement or assistance.
Working with the student on those areas in order to complete said tasks. Allowing plenty of time for to understand the material not just simply completing the homework at hand.
I am most comfortable with school age children grades 1-8, in the areas of English and reading.
