About Millie
Hi, I’m Millie. I'm just like the rest of you; I had previously sat my GCSEs, so I know how the pressure and mental stress of exams and mocks can pile up on young people. To make your life easier, I want to share my tips and tricks specifically for English, as it is a subject I’m passionate about, and I believe I can help you believe in your abilities and mine that you will succeed.

I’d like to first start with a one-to-one conversation with the student about what they feel needs improving and we can go over a practice exam paper they may have done to see where they are losing marks. After this I’ll be setting homework each week, two essays each that need to be completed with deadlines, and I’ll go through them in the lesson with the student. I will then figure out what exactly works for my student to improve their grades. My students will get demo essays sent online if they need any help, and I’ll have activities at the start created as a warm-up before the lesson to ease in.
