About MEENA
Hi! I’m a passionate and patient tutor who loves helping students understand math and science in a way that finally makes sense. I believe that learning should feel encouraging, not intimidating, so I always create a welcoming space where questions are celebrated and mistakes are part of the process. I take the time to explain concepts clearly, use examples that connect to real life, and adapt my approach to each student’s learning style. With years of experience supporting high school students, I’ve helped learners at all levels build confidence and achieve real progress. In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching documentaries, listening to podcasts, cycling, yoga, and making interactive art installations.

I focus on creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring challenging concepts. I use a combination of step-by-step explanations, real-life examples, and targeted practice to help students truly understand math and science rather than just memorize formulas.
A typical lesson with me starts with a quick check-in on the student’s goals or current struggles, followed by a clear explanation of the topic, guided practice together, and independent problem-solving with feedback. I adjust my pace and methods to fit each student’s learning style and use visual aids, analogies, and interactive questioning to keep lessons engaging.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my patience, my ability to explain complex topics in simple terms, and my focus on building confidence alongside academic skills.
My lessons are designed for high school students taking foundational or advanced classes in math or science, including algebra, geometry, calculus, biology, chemistry, and physics, as well as students preparing for standardized tests or strengthening core skills.
