About Aubrey
I am a Math tutor with over 3 years of experience and hold an MSc in Applied Mathematics. My passion lies in exploring advanced topics like chaos theory and fractal geometry. These areas offer fascinating ways to understand complex systems and natural phenomena. I integrate these concepts into my teaching to make mathematics more engaging and relevant. I specialize in teaching iterated functions, self-similarity, and strange attractors. I use visual examples and interactive simulations to help students grasp these challenging ideas. My teaching approach in Math is highly structured and concept-driven. I believe that strong foundations are key to mastering advanced topics. I make sure that students understand the “why” behind each concept, not just the “how.” This way, their learning is deep and long-lasting. I also include real-life examples, especially in probability and statistics, to make abstract ideas more relatable. Whether it’s solving algebraic equations, understanding geometric proofs, or working through calculus problems, I guide students step by step. I tailor every session to the student’s pace and needs. As someone with a problem-solving mindset and a future in actuarial science, I bring both logic and clarity to every topic. Students receive clear goals for each lesson and know exactly what to expect next. I break down complex problems into manageable parts. I support learners in gaining the confidence they need to solve problems independently. With consistent effort and guided practice, they are well on track to excel in school, college, and beyond.
