About Davide
I am an Italian mother tongue doing a PhD in Classics at Oxford. I graduated in Classics (BA and Masters’) with honours and I have been tutoring privately since 2012 (and for a cultural association from 2016 to 2017). Apart from private tutoring, I have been teaching grammar classes for the University of Oxford. My approach for private tutoring is student-centred: I try to evaluate the needs and the attitude of my students and pitch my teaching accordingly. I tend to employ traditional teaching strategies as well as different approaches, especially for modern languages (Italian) such as fiction passages or movies/song excerpts. I have had experience with different kinds of students, from different backgrounds, with different needs (including special needs).
