About Umi
I come from Kazakhstan (Central Asia) and my passion for languages as well as my learning method allow me to be able to speak 6 languages today - Russian, Kazakh, English, French, German and a little bit of Turkish.
In Kazakhstan, I taught English for 4 years, while working in the tourism industry, before settling in a French-speaking part of Switzerland.

J'ai pris des cours de Russe avec Umitzhan pendant quelques mois. Umi est une excellente professeure, sympa, toujours motivée, flexible et compréhensive ! Elle m'a beaucoup aidé à travailler la grammaire, le vocabulaire et l'expression et la compréhension orale. Elle a aussi fait beaucoup d'efforts pour m'expliquer en Russe les choses que je ne comprenais pas, et nous n'avons presque pas eu besoin de parler dans d'autres langues pendant les cours. Je la recommande vivement !
