About Imane
I am a passionate psychology student at City University of London. Originally from Morocco, I learned French from a tender age and fell in love with literature as soon as I could read. Learning a new language is life changing! It helps you improve your cognitive abilities by challenging your brain to recognise, negotiate meaning, and communicate in different language systems. A fun fact is that several studies proved that speaking more that one language helps you stave off Alzheimer and dementia in old age. I am a hard working and enthusiastic individual who gets immense satisfaction from helping others. I used to teach primary students back home different subjects like Mathematics and Science. Thus my love for teaching. I have no specific teaching methodology as every student is unique. I like to nourish my teaching approach with the individual differences of my students. Of course, the core strategy is to address all the reading areas of vocabulary, grammar, fluency, and comprehension, but it remains flexible depending on the preferences and cognitive abilities of the learners.
