About Regina
I worked in the computer industry for 15 years before becoming a teacher of English Literature at 48. I just retired after 18 years of teaching at a private, Catholic school in New Hampshire, but I still want to share my knowledge and love of literature and writing. I love working with students one-on-one, helping them with their writing skills and with their understanding of literature.

I’m new to tutoring, but as a classroom teacher, my focus has always been on helping my students to connect their own life experiences to what they are reading to make the experience more meaningful. I built a reputation for fusing technology into a very classical British literature curriculum, and working with my students individually to improve their writing skills, both with research papers and with essay writing. I also believe in a collaborative learning style because I believe in “hands-on” learning, rather than passive learning. I have high expectations for students progress, but I’m willing to do whatever it takes to help my students achieve their goals.
