About Antania
I am an experienced special education teacher with a strong background in supporting learners of different abilities and learning styles. I am committed to helping students build both skills and confidence in their learning. Throughout my career, I have worked closely with students who benefit from individualized instruction, clear structure, and patient guidance. My professional experience has equipped me with the ability to adapt lessons to meet each learner’s needs while maintaining high expectations and consistent support. I take a thoughtful, organized, and student-centered approach to tutoring. Lessons are carefully planned, goal-oriented, and adjusted in real time to ensure understanding and progress. I am a passionate special education teacher with extensive experience supporting learners of different abilities. My approach to tutoring is patient, flexible, and student-centered. I believe learning happens best when students feel safe, supported, and understood, so I take time to get to know each learner’s strengths, needs, and goals before diving into instruction.
My teaching focuses on building strong foundational skills in English, spelling, grammar, and creative writing while also encouraging confidence and self-expression. I use clear explanations, visual supports when helpful, and guided practice to help students understand not just the “what,” but the “why” behind language skills.
What sets me apart is my background in special education and my ability to adapt instruction for different learning styles, attention levels, and needs. Whether a student needs extra structure, repetition, or a more creative approach, I meet them where they are and build from there. All ages and abilities are welcome!
