About Cate
I come from a long line of teachers and was even taught by my mom all throughout high school. I am the oldest of four children in my family and have always loved helping my siblings overcome academic struggles and enlightening them wherever I could. I have tutored and given practical lessons for drama before and am a very personable and passionate individual making me great with shy students. I am patient and supportive and my working hours are fairly flexible. I am a very good communicator and therefore reliable and supportive.

I will help guide my students in both their study methods and answering techniques by deconstructing past paper questions and analysing what is expected from them in the answer. I obtained 87% in English, 100% in Dramatic Arts, 92% in Business Studies and 80% in History for my 2024 Matric final results and am able to teach and critique on all of the aforementioned subjects. I help in various areas whether it may be public speaking or speeches, essay writing or good old-fashioned theoretical learning and critical analysis. I would be happy to set goals for the desired subjects and create a detailed study schedule to better direct my students.
