About Ashwin
I’m a robotics engineer and educator with a passion for making complex concepts simple. I began my journey with modest academic roots, earning a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from CUSAT, followed by two years in R&D at Emerson. My real turning point came during my M.E. in Design Engineering at BITS Pilani, where I graduated top of my class and discovered a deep interest in research and teaching. I went on to pursue a PhD in Robotics at IISc Bangalore, focusing on flexible robots for medical applications. Since then, I’ve worked in drone development, taught as an Assistant Professor at BITS Pilani Goa, and now lead my own robotics startup. I started online tutoring to stay connected to academics and to support my entrepreneurial journey. My teaching is clear, patient, and grounded in real-world experience—perfect for students who need strong conceptual foundations and personal guidance.

I offer online tutoring for undergraduate and postgraduate engineering students—especially those who struggle with the basics. With a PhD in Robotics from IISc, past experience as Assistant Professor at BITS Pilani, and co-founder of a robotics startup, I combine academic depth with practical teaching.
I specialize in breaking down complex topics into simple, easy-to-understand concepts by drawing parallels with real-life examples. My small-group sessions focus on subjects like mechanics, dynamics, vibrations, control systems, and robotics. I begin with why a topic matters before diving in, and like to be patient, encouraging questions and clarifications until things click.
