My focus is always on making the learning experience fit each student’s needs. My teaching focuses on the student’s understanding, rather than just delivering content. I ensure that each lesson is centered around the needs of the individual learner, acknowledging that everyone has their own pace and style of learning.I use interactive activities that engage younger learners. This could include visual aids, games, and hands-on activities that help bring abstract concepts to life. These are effective for children because they make learning fun and memorable.
I start each lesson with a brief recap of the previous material, followed by an introduction to the new topic. I keep it simple and clear, often asking open-ended questions to gauge what the student already knows or remembers.
I break down the lesson into smaller, manageable chunks, ensuring each concept is understood before moving on to the next one. This is usually done through a mix of verbal explanations and hands-on practice.
I give students time to engage with the material through guided exercises or activities that reinforce what they've learned. This is when I observe how they apply the concepts and correct any misconceptions in real-time.
At the end of the lesson, I review key points with the student and ask them to summarize what they’ve learned in their own words. I also offer feedback on their progress and set goals for the next lesson
My lessons are primarily for younger children, typically ranging from 5 to 12 years old, though I am flexible depending on the individual child’s needs. These can include early learners in elementary school or children who need extra support in building foundational skills.
I work across a variety of subjects, but especially those where young learners might need more hands-on, visual, or tailored approaches—such as math, reading, and science.
My approach is especially effective for students who may struggle with traditional classroom learning styles or need extra support to build their confidence. Whether it’s through a slower pace, more interactive materials, or personalized strategies, I’m here to make learning accessible and enjoyable for every child.
