I completed my Bachelor of Liberal Arts at Harvard University, concentrating in Computer Science with a minor in quantitative analysis. I continued on, completing my Master's in applied statistics at Carnegie Mellon University. During my studies, I was both a Teaching Aide at Harvard and a Teaching Assistant at CMU. I currently consult in the field of data science, the intersection of statistics and computer science.
I am a lifelong learner, having continued taking courses...everything from evolutionary psychology to creative writing. I have written a novel, backpacked through Central America, and climbed the great pyramid at Giza...persuing and passing along the knowledge and experience I have attained.
I am experienced in tutoring statistics, data science, writing, math, and Adult Basic Education (ABE), and I have received the President's Award for service for volunteer work in Adult Literacy.
Most importantly, I am approachable, pleasant, patient, and thorough. We will be a team, working together to reach your educational goals. After learning what those goals are, we will plan a course of action together and we will accomplish those goals.
