My Chemistry Tutoring Approach — Charisse Leung
I teach Chemistry with a clear, structured and supportive approach that helps students understand concepts deeply rather than memorise them. My lessons focus on building confidence, strengthening foundations and developing strong analytical skills through patient explanations and guided practice.
Teaching Techniques & Methodology
- I break down complex Chemistry ideas into simple, logical steps

Typical Lesson Length
Most lessons are 60 minutes, allowing time for teaching, practice and feedback.
For younger students, including kindergarten and early primary, I also offer 45‑minute sessions to keep learning focused and engaging.
Longer sessions (75–90 minutes) are available for exam preparation.
Qualifications & Experience
I am a Biochemistry undergraduate with a strong academic background in Chemistry, Biology and Maths. I have experience supporting students from kindergarten to secondary level, helping them with homework, foundational skills, exam preparation and confidence building. My teaching style is patient, friendly and adaptable, making it suitable for students who need clear explanations and steady encouragement.
