I am a dedicated and patient math tutor who focuses on helping students build confidence and understanding, not just correct answers. A typical lesson starts with a quick check-in to see what the student is currently working on or struggling with. From there, I review the concept, walk through examples together, and then let the student try problems with guidance. I adjust the pace based on the student’s needs and end each session by reviewing what we covered and identifying what to practice next.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my supportive and understanding teaching style. As a college student, I understand how stressful school can feel, especially when math doesn’t come easily. I focus on helping students truly understand the “why” behind problems instead of just memorizing steps. I aim to create a calm, judgment-free space where learning feels manageable.
