About Nicole
Hi, I’m Nicole! I have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Education with a concentration in Talent Development and additional certifications in Marketing, Social Media Marketing, and Leadership Studies. I completed my degree fully online, so I understand how to create engaging, flexible learning experiences in a virtual environment.
I’ve worked in education for over 5 years, including:
- A lead instructor at a STEM learning center, where I designed and taught lessons for small groups of students, grades 1–12
️- A substitute teacher for K–12 classrooms
️- 1-on-1 tutoring online & in-person
My specialty is making learning fun and approachable, especially for elementary and middle school students. I love helping students feel confident in their reading, writing, and language skills — whether we’re improving grammar, strengthening writing structure, or exploring creative writing.
One of my favorite moments as a tutor is seeing that “aha!” moment when a student finally gets it. I strive to build strong relationships with my students, tailoring lessons to meet their interests and learning styles.
