About Nicole
I am a qualified primary teacher with a Master's in Education and over eight years of teaching experience, including four years of online ESL tutoring. I have taught in Ireland, the UK, and abroad, including time spent teaching in Cambodia and working with learners across Spain, Germany, and Europe. These experiences helped me understand the confidence barriers language learners face, and I specialize in a gentle, encouragement-based approach where students feel safe to speak and grow without pressure. Helping learners feel confident, supported, and proud of their progress is always my priority.

My lessons are designed to help learners feel comfortable, supported and confident using English in real life. Many students feel nervous speaking a new language, so I begin each session with a relaxed check-in or simple conversation activity to remove pressure and build trust.
A typical lesson includes:
A gentle warm-up to build confidence speaking
Interactive communication-based activities (stories, role-play, visuals, real situations)
Kind correction and encouragement, never overwhelming feedback
Small, achievable goals so students feel proud of their progress
I believe confidence comes before fluency, so my teaching focuses on celebrating small wins, reducing anxiety and making English enjoyable. My ESL lessons are ideal for nervous learners, children or teens who need gentle support, and adults who want to practise English without fear of mistakes.
