About Rebecca
I am a senior chemistry and environmental studies double major at Pacific Lutheran University, graduating with honors in the spring. I have taken courses that include: general chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, physical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, polymer chemistry, analytical chemistry, and instrumental chemistry. I've also had the opportunity to be a chemistry teaching assistant for a variety of courses that include environmental and organic chemistry.

Hey there! I am a Senior Chemistry Major, who loves helping people become confident with Chemistry. I have been a Chemistry teaching assistant for 3 years and am passionate about helping people find their footing in Chemistry. I strive to create a welcoming and friendly learning environment, that is stress-free for all. I ask questions to gauge where students are at so that I can help them connect the concepts and truly understand why an answer is an answer. I love showing students how Chemistry can relate to everyday life because I truly believe students learn best when they are involved in the lesson and see the reasonings/purpose. These lessons are for middle, high school, or college students who need extra support with any topic in Chemistry. I tutor all levels of high school chemistry, intro to Chemistry college courses, Gen Chem 1/Gen Chem 2, Physical Chem (thermodynamic and quantum), and Inorganic Chem. I've taken classes alongside Rebecca for the past 2 years, she's a smart individual who values having fun with learning. Chemistry can be such a scary subject to jump into and it can be hard to navigate what to learn and where to start.
