About Greg
The most important thing you need to know about me is that I teach with a selfless quality. I am not the least bit concerned with what I will get out of teaching lessons (besides the inevitable joy!), and money is just a means of exchange to help me support my family and lifestyle.
The reason I teach is simply because, of the myriad things we do as humans, guitar and music (and explaining the two) seem to come most naturally to me. These are my gifts and talents, and I want to share them with you!

Every lesson begins with genuine, human connection. I first learn about you and your unique interest in the guitar (or bass/ukulele) so that I can understand how best to serve you and deliver only the most comprehensible lessons and studies.
My aim is to help each individual develop their own capacity for self-teaching, so that my lessons are merely the first stepping stones on a path of discovery with the instrument that each student will undertake and continue on long after I am gone.
My lessons are for anyone of any skill level, although beginners and intermediate players will likely derive the most value from my lessons. More advanced players may find my insights about music theory and guitar interesting, and often my lessons with these players are more conversational in nature.
