About Imani
My lessons focus on building strong reading foundations while helping students grow in confidence and self-belief. As a certified online reading tutor, I support K–8 learners using structured, Science of Reading–aligned instruction tailored to each child’s pace and needs. I create calm, encouraging sessions that strengthen decoding, fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary while reducing anxiety around reading. I believe learning works best when students feel safe, capable, and supported, so I incorporate positive reinforcement, clear routines, and engaging activities that make reading feel achievable and empowering.
