About Puneet
My name is Puneet, and I’m a University of Alberta psychology student with a strong academic foundation and a clear, organised approach to tutoring. I take my work seriously and aim to create a respectful, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I’m reliable, well-prepared for each lesson, and attentive to individual learning needs. I keep my lessons structured but flexible. I start by figuring out what the student already understands and where they’re getting stuck, then I explain concepts in a simple, straightforward way. I don’t rush through material. I focus on making sure the student actually gets it before moving on. I use practice questions, examples, and active discussion rather than just talking at the student. If something isn’t clicking, I explain it a different way until it does. I also help students with study strategies, organisation, and test preparation when needed. A typical lesson is 60 minutes, but I adjust the pace depending on the student’s attention span, goals, and workload. I have experience tutoring peers and younger students in one-on-one settings, helping with homework, exam prep, and understanding core concepts. I’m a University of Alberta psychology student with a strong academic background in English, Science, Biology, and introductory Psychology. My lessons are for students of all levels up to Grade 12, including those who need extra support, want to improve their grades, or just want school to feel less stressful and more manageable.
