About Faustin
I graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Food Science. I used to dream of becoming a chemical engineer due to my passion in Chemistry. However, I changed my major in Food Science in the hope of being able to apply my chemistry knowledge to food manufacturing. During college in Shoreline, WA, I tutored chemistry lesson for a quarter, in which I enjoyed the process because I was learning a lot, in terms of the subject and also how to make other people understand what I understood. It took me patience and sincere motivation to help others achieve their goals.

I like to write down things as I am explaining. More often than not, if I have a method, graph, or a simpler way to do a calculation or just a mere explanation, I will draw or simulate it. I also like to encourage my students to elaborate what they understand so far to induce memory retention and provide indirect guidance for independency.
