About Chelsea
I was the primary teacher in a class of year 2 students one morning a week for the past three years. I graduated from St Paul’s Girls’ School in 2020 and am currently a John Jay scholar at Columbia University.

I tailor each lesson to the individual student, helping them to remain engaged and interested in the material. Through a series of activities, discussions and written questions, I help students approach the same concept from multiple angles. Understanding is much more important than rote memorisation. Having gained place at the most selective secondary schools in London, I have an intricate understanding of the process and the level of attainment required to gain a place.

Chelsea is a patient and diligent tutor who helped my son with his English, grammar and creative writing. He always enjoys their zoom lessons and has gotten much better at using his imagination when writing stories. His grammatical accuracy is also so much better. Chelsea is a really brilliant tutor!
Chelsea tutored my 10 year old daughter for the 11+ exam. She is highly intelligent but also very patient and willing to explain concepts in several different ways to ensure complete understanding. We did 1.5hr and 2hr sessions and amazingly my daughter said that the time flew. Chelsea made the lessons fun and creative but I watched my daughter's vocabulary and confidence grow over the course of the months before our exam. She gained acceptance into her top choice school and we credit Chelsea enormously with that achievement. I highly recommend her.
