About Faith
I started tutoring 3 years ago, teaching Year 8 students Mathematics in classroom environments. This was complemented with my experience in volunteering at a local primary school for a year, supporting Year 6 students with Mathematics and English through 1:1 sessions. During this time, I've learned an abundance about the varying teaching and learning styles that I can implement to aid my students in achieving the top marks they deserve. I completed my GCSEs and A Levels at Bedford Girls' School, achieving excellent grades (A-A*) in all my subjects. I'm currently studying for a BSc in Business Management and have a passion for helping students reach their academic goals. Most of my previous tutees were preparing for their GCSEs, and my main goal is to simultaneously build their confidence and understanding of key topics. During my online lessons, the tutee will be supported consistently, and provided with tailored lesson plans which adhere to their individual learning styles - all whilst maintaining an enjoyable and healthy learning environment. My teachers have described me as a "polite and hard-working individual," and I'm confident in my ability to help students excel in GCSE and A Level Mathematics.

I hold my lessons on Zoom, with each session lasting about 45 minutes - providing the perfect amount of time for active, productive and focused work! I'm available on Saturdays; this aligns greatly with my students, as they're typically busy with school on weekdays. I’m great at creating acronyms and mnemonics for creative long-term learning.
