About Jim
I am in my third year of a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors), specialising in Engineering Science and Mathematical Modelling.
I completed both NCEA and CIE Mathematics with top grades, and also endorsed all levels of NCEA with excellence. In my year twelve I completed Level 3 Calculus and Physics with Excellence, CIE A Level Math with A*, and NZQA scholarship in Calculus, Physics and Statistics.
I have been a private tutor for almost fiveyears, with many students going on to achieve fantastic results.

I mostly specialize in exam preparation and revision and am experienced in taking a student through a year of content in a way that will help them pick up on any gaps and prepare to excel.
I can also work alongside a school syllabus, going through content as the student learns it to reinforce and explain any areas in which they are unsure. Weekly summaries and homework help have so far been an effective way for my students to learn.
