About Natalie
Hello! Receiving instruction from me will ensure that you receive constructive tutoring to help you develop an undeniably strong foundation in grammar at the elementary, middle school, or high school level. I will work with you to develop a strong writing style and writing voice that you are proud of and will help to excel in English class, individual pursuits, job applications, etc. I am a performing arts major with a special focus on creative writing and English. I have been writing seriously for 10 years and have a passion for working with other students who have a sense of determination and passion. I want to work with you to help you achieve your goals!

I teach through one-on-one sessions that work towards specific writing and English goals to help my students develop an appreciation for and skill in writing style, grammar, and English/writing processes. Sessions are typically an hour long and are built around the goals of the student. I meet students where they are at and listen to their needs first, as I believe that a student who has the opportunity to express what they need is a student who will trust the help they receive from their tutor. My lessons will begin with a debrief, (5-10 minutes), goal-setting (5 minutes), relevant instruction based on the set goal (15 minutes), guided practice time (20 minutes), homework assigning (5 minutes), to conclude with a student-tutor reflection (5 minutes).
