About Lucía
Hi! I’m a multilingual native Spanish speaker currently studying at the University of Edinburgh with a passion for helping students communicate more naturally and confidently in Spanish.
Having learnt and used different languages myself, I understand the challenges that can come with pronunciation, listening comprehension and expressing yourself fluently. I enjoy creating supportive and interactive lessons where students feel comfortable practising and improving step by step.
I teach students of different ages and levels, whether they want to improve their accent, strengthen reading and writing skills, understand spoken Spanish more easily or simply become more confident communicating in everyday situations. My goal is to make learning Spanish practical, engaging and adapted to each student’s pace and objectives.

My Spanish lessons are personalised depending on each student’s level, goals and confidence. Whether the focus is improving listening skills, strengthening reading and writing, reducing a foreign accent or becoming more comfortable speaking naturally, lessons are adapted to each individual.
Lessons are available in 45-minute, 1-hour or 1.5-hour sessions depending on the student’s needs. I focus on making classes interactive and practical through conversation practice, pronunciation exercises, listening activities, vocabulary-building and real-life communication scenarios rather than only memorisation.
As a multilingual speaker myself, I understand the challenges of learning another language and expressing yourself confidently. My goal is to create supportive and engaging lessons where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and improving step by step.
