About Kai
Hi there! My name is Kai. I was also a student - as we all are at some point or another. My teachers (formal and informal) have had a profound impact on my life. I would love the opportunity to do the same. I am a qualified English and Creative Arts educator. In my "classroom", it is all about you! There are no silly questions, and there is no such thing as a 'bad student'. Show up, do your best and we WILL make progress together.

I am proficient in English and have a great gasp of my subject content knowledge. I truly believe that teaching is not about conveying this knowledge, but creating a safe and engaging environment in which learning can be facilitated. I like to get to know my students: what do they enjoy? What are some of their unique strengths and challenges? How can I make this content exciting, relatable and relevant for them? I have facilitated art workshops with people of all ages (4-60+), and have taught English to students between the ages of 12 and 18, although I am always up for new challenges.
