About Flensted
My first degree is in architecture and while I enjoyed it my passion was in teaching. I finally summed up the courage 7 years ago and quit my job to become a teacher. I have worked with students for almost 30 years at different levels; as a sports coach, sunday school teacher and youth leader. For me it has always been about the students and knowing the fear students have for maths, that is why I chose to teach maths.

I adapt my lessons to meet the needs of the individual. I recognise that every individual is unique and I try to identify what sets the individual apart; your strengths and weaknesses, and I prepare my lessos to play to your strength while working to develop and improve your weakness. I motivate students to believe and push themselves. I help them learn to own every progress they make in my class. With time they learn to motivate themselves, developing grit and resilience.
