About Miso
Hi everyone, I wanted to clarify something about my academic status that might seem a little confusing. I'm a 5th-year Pharm.D. student, which means I've completed all my classroom coursework. In many fields, once you finish your core classes and move into your final, practical-based years, you're considered a postgraduate (PG) student. Think of it this way: the 5th and 6th years of the Pharm.D. program are dedicated entirely to internships and clinical rotations. This is where we apply everything we've learned in a real-world setting, working directly with patients and healthcare professionals. It's similar to how a medical student's final years are spent in hospitals as residents—they've graduated from their classroom studies but are still completing their practical training. So, while I'm technically still enrolled in the Pharm.D. program, my work now is at a postgraduate level. The focus has shifted from learning in a lecture hall to applying that knowledge in a professional environment, which is why I'm considered a PG student for a tutoring job like this one.
